selling my 2008 Eastern Battery BMX bike so I can buy a new mountain bike. I have it listed as new becouse i've litterally only ridden it once! The only scratches are on the bottom of the right front and rear pegs from grinding the one time I rode it. I thought I wanted to get back into BMX but after trying have decided i'm to old to be falling onto pavement! The Battery is a serious bike for ramp riding factory equiped with smooth pegs for grinding, front and rear brakes, and reduced front and rear drive sprockets for improved ground clearance. This bike would make an excelent christmas present and you'd save $125 - $140 concidering a new one costs $415.00 plus this bike would likely be better equiped!

For any parents looking for their children: The buzz word or "cool" bikes the kids are talking about are "25-9" bikes. All that means is the bike has smaller drive sprockets(25 teeth front-9 teeth rear) this gives the bike better clearance. This is a NICE 25-9 bike!

Couldn't be more happy with it. Like new. About 600 miles on it, never crashed.

Bike is pretty much as purchased, plus CatEye computer and water bottle holders.

Ultegra shifters, front and rear derailleurs, Cane Creek brake calipers, Mavic Aksium wheelset, FSA carbon crank and seat post.

A very sweet ride with comfortable geometry and road dampening carbon for extended riding, but incredible light and responsive for great climbing and descending on your trips to the mountains.

Rebuilding classic steel frame and this speedy carbon must go.

Being used, thus cheaper this bike is perfect for someone looking to make
the jump from "walmart mountain bikes" to the REAL DEAL. The gear
changing mechanisim could use a tune-up but works as is. I've really
enjoyed this bike over the past couple years but am ready to step up to
the high dollar bikes. I'd love to keep this bike forever but am looking
for something in the $800 range and unfortunatlly could only find 17cents
under the couch cussions.

I bought this tricycle for my new business but I didn't need to advertise to make sales and never ended up using the tricycle. I rode it around King street twice to make sure the gears were working properly and that was it.

I imagine that if you waited until low tide you could even ride this tricycle on the beach at Isle of Palms or Folly. People at the beach are always looking for a place to eat, things to do, etc. Especially if your company could deliver to the beach this could be a great way to get the word out. I've seen ad bikes on beaches before but they were all much more primitive than this one.

Here is how I pictured this advertising tricycle working: Initially put up an advertisement that says "Made Ya Look! Call for our rates!". This will be the biggest sign on the streets anywhere in the greater Charleston area. You can also put up advertisements that say something like "Anyone who mentions this ad gets a free beer at ________ or a free appetizer at ______" This way you can easily and accurately judge the effectiveness of the advertisement based on the people who mention the ad. There is a local company called www.thesignchef.com who can make full color signs in this size for $129.00.

The front wheel is 20 inches and the two rear wheels are 24 inches.

I paid extra to have LED lights in the tricycle. The lights hang inside the billboard and can be used to light up the advertisement at night. This feature cost me a few hundred extra and runs off a 12volt battery system. I have the charger for it and one charge is supposed to last around 3 days of light because the lights don't use very much energy.

The manufacturer sent 4 pieces of plexi glass to go on the sides of the vehicle. The idea is that you put the advertisement in between the two pieces of plexi glass. Personally I think it would be easier to use 1 of the pieces of plexi glass as the background and then put a banner-type ad over the plexi glass. This way it would be easily removable and the banners made at www.thesignchef.com are resistant to rain, etc. I still have 2 in tact pieces of the plexi glass but I chipped the other 2.

This tricycle is sitting in my backyard and is just waiting for someone to use it for exposure for their business or to start a mobile advertising business. If this tricycle was successful or if the buyer were interested in a fleet I could help with that as well.
