Title in hand. Sold as is for $750. I used this boat this summer and had a great time. Boat was in the water 8 weeks ago, ran great, we had her up to 45mph last time out and she sounded/ran great right up until we began our way back to the dock. The boat wouldn't go more than 15mph. I don't think it's the engine because it revs smoothly and sounds great. I just had the fluid changed in the lower unit last month, the mechanic said the fluid looked good. I haven't taken it back out since to try to figure out what the deal is (ethanol? water in fuel? clogged carb?). I just don't know and with a new baby on the way, I don't have the time right now and wife (boss) says she (the boat) has got to go!

Engine doesn't burn oil and starts up first crank every time. I just put a brand new aluminum prop on last month, too. Trailer is rusty but functional with two brand new hubs and bearings. Hubs are cool to the touch even after long hauls. The cover is ripped in places but is included and keeps most debris out. Fishfinder works, but the horn doesn't (but the wires are good to the horn). Newer fuel tank is in the bow, better balance on the boat. Floor has a couple of softspots but nothing major. She starts right up and revs great! Also included are a few lifejackets, anchor, and dock pole.

If anyone's in the market for a great little cruiser, drop me a line. She's a tough and pretty Sabre 28, though the paint job does need to be redone (part of her stripe got worn off over the summer in Annapolis as she rubbed against the dock....the fender slipped, and again since I wasn't there......). The Atomic 4 runs like a champ (just had the head gasket, thermostat, and all engine instruments replaced). We did the ICW a couple months ago from Annapolis without a hitch, except for some bad fuel at the beginning (check out my blog at sailandstars.blogspot.com for the diary of the trip if you want proof). She's parked on a mooring buoy across from the Charleston City Marina.

Good-sized ice box (I typically use 40 lbs of ice to start, then refill in 20 lb intervals). Starting and deep cycle house battery. Electric and manual built-in bilge pumps. Portable bilge pump. My plan was to haul her next summer to do a new bottom job (it's been a couple years) and fix the topside paint.

Dinghy: Walker Bay Watertender 9.4 hard dinghy with Mercury 2-stroke 4.5 hp outboard, 6 gallon fuel tank, and oars. The dinghy is docked at the Charleston City Marina

Mooring: helical mooring installed by professional diver in early 2009. High quality pickup buoy and pendant. The mooring is located at the corner of the Ashley River and Wapoo Creek in Charleston across from the City Marina (ICW mile 471).

Obviously I'll sell the boat and dinghy without the mooring, but not vice versa.

I purchased this motor from a boat mechanic that had completely rebuilt it two years ago. He used this motor on Lake Murray and said it had never been in saltwater. My father in law has this same set up but with a 70hp Johnson and when he drove mine he said the Evinrude seemed much stronger. It has a new ignition switch because the old one was sticking a little.

Trailer is brand new. I purchased it for $900.00 late summer and only have put the boat in the water once since then.

This set up comes with a bimini top, two life jackets, an anchor and depth finder. And of course the battery and gas tank.

I also have the lower cowling halves, powerhead, cylinder heads, carbs, reeds, flywheel, ignition etc from this motor. Let me know what you may want and can work a deal. Powerhead was blown (have not disassembled to assess the cause/damage....comp readings were low (30-40 psi) when I first messed w/ it after I bought a project hull.
