We are searching for a qualified Construction Supervisor with minimum 5 years in the construction industry (includes time in school) with at least 1 year verifiable experience to supervise multiple trades and crews performing work at various construction projects.
The Construction Supervisor position is a full-time, on-site position, responsible for overseeing all phases of construction. The qualifying individual will be part of the construction field team and will coordinate with the Construction Management team in the office.
The Construction Supervisor will serve as the Company’s representative responsible for continuous field supervision, coordination, and completion of the work. The Supervisor will manage construction crews during completion of field work to ensure compliance with the contract documents. The candidate will also coordinate with the Owners representative and report directly to the Project Manager.
Tasks of the Construction Supervisor include, but are not limited to: Supervising subcontractors on renovations and construction projects; Keeping daily work performance logs and production records; Monitoring subcontractor services, and labor efforts; Monitoring production rates during renovation/construction work in order to complete project within costs and schedule; Inspecting renovation/construction work to enforce conformity to contract specifications; Supervising subcontractors, support staff, and other personnel; Maintaining lines of communication established for the project; and, Performing other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have an OSHA 10-hour certification or be willing to pursue this certification in a timely fashion. Ensure quality construction standards and adherence to project plans. Coordinate QA processes and resolution including all punch-list items.

Requirements include:
South Carolina Certification for Air Sampler required

Broetje Automation-USA, has an immediate requirement for a Field Engineer to support sophisticated automated fastening equipment at major aircraft assembly facilities in the N. Charleston, SC area.
The successful candidate will maintain, program, troubleshoot and repair automated fastening systems and related equipment such as CNC’s, PLC programmable controllers, end effectors, positioning systems, and part feeders, applying knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, and hydraulic subsystems. Working knowledge of and programming skills on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) and Computer Numerical Controls (CNC’s) is necessary. Siemens S7 PLC and Siemens 840D CNC control experience preferred. German language proficiency not required but will be considered an advantage.
