Lead further development, design, and implementation of AS9100 quality systems
Oversee supplier quality systems
Purchase order review.
Customer specification review and flow down.
Implement AS9100 systems, standards, and training
Drive overall team inspection and measurement techniques, procedures, and work instructions
Support training efforts on inspection and measurement techniques.
Administering first article inspections.
Monitoring, control, and disposition of nonconforming material including rework and scrap.
Administer customer concessions.
Evaluation and disposition of customer returns.
Initiation of internal corrective actions.
Monitor and respond to customer initiated corrective actions.
Programming of equipment such as laser marking and CNC inspection equipment.
Monitor, control and calibration of inspection and measurement equipment.
Review and analysis of gauging capabilities for improvement and development.
Maintenance of quality records as required.
Perform internal quality system audits.
Participate in external quality system audits as required.
Support certification process for the Designated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR)/ Release Agent
Implementing process changes to improve quality and flow.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of automatic data collection and analysis.
Drive improvements through process capability analysis.
Lead lean initiatives and Action Work-Outs (AWO)
Manage quality organization budget
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
Minimum of 7 years experience with increasing responsibilities
Experience with SPC required.
Desired:
Aerospace and bearings quality leadership experiences
Six Sigma Black Belt
Plant start-up experience
CMM programming (Zeiss, Calypso, PC-DMISetc)
Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Highly motivated.
Team oriented.
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.

Structural CADD Technician who will be responsible for creating drawings and structural detailing using Micro-Station. Our Columbia, SC office has an immediate need for a self-motivated team player with the ability to efficiently operate computer drafting equipment and Micro-Station Software.
Requirements:
• Associates Degree in Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology or Computer Technology from an accredited Technical College (or equivalent degree)
• Minimum of 2 years experience with Micro-Station with proficiency in Version 8
• Experience with DOT bridges structures projects required
