The Institute of Psychiatry at MUSC is recruiting individuals who use prescription opiates (such as OxyContin, Vicodin, Lortab or Percocet) and who endorse at least one of the following: use them to feel good or get “high”, have cravings for them, end up using more than they were planning to, need to use more in order to get the same effect as when they first starting using, have trouble cutting down or quitting, or take them without a doctor’s prescription. This is a non-treatment research study examining the relationship between stress and drug cues. Compensation is provided. Information is kept strictly confidential.
