The Lowcountry Bounty Festival to benefit the Outreach Learning Center at St. Matthew’s, will be held at Seabrook Island Club, October 11th and 12th.
The schedule of this two day event holds something of interest for everyone. Besides some of the best food, music and wine tasting offered in our area, each day is full of presentations ranging from cooking demonstrations by Bob Waggoner (Charleston Grill) and the TTC Culinary School to kite and fly fishing. Take a wine class with Rick Rubel and learn about growing local grapes with Irving House Vineyards. Local artists show “how to” create great faux painting, throw the perfect pot and weave a sea grass basket. Art and photography contests and exhibits allow you to participate. Enjoy bike, GEM electric car and van tours of beautiful Seabrook Island. Enjoy all this and much more. This festival highlights the use of local and “sustainable” products.
We are asking for your help to make this first year event a success. There are a variety of necessary volunteer positions. Please sign up today or call us for more information.
