This piece from the Dorchester Pottery Works looks great in a collection of crocks and jugs, but it is meant to lie flat. It was to be filled with hot water and place horizontally in the sheets to warm the feet. It is in excellent condition for its age. The original rubber plug s still in place. There are no chips to the piece, but wear and scratching on the back where us was placed flat.
It is about 12” tall, 5.25” across the bottom and maybe about6” across the shoulders.
