Selling our 1986 Carver 32 Mariner because it is too much boat for our current retirement and yearly use of the boat. Boat is in good condition and well maintain. The boat spent many years on the Maryland Sassafras and Potomac Rivers before moving it down south to the Cooper River at the Cooper River Mariner. It has a nice salon and birth layout for weekend overnight stay or just swinging on the hook at a nice river cove. Our Carver 32 is a comfortable floating home on a seagoing haul. The Cummins gasoline generator needs service. It runs but appears not to pump cooling water from the seacock. The swim deck is usable but damage from what I believe is years of transporting a dinghy prior to our purchase. Marina slip contract renew each December. Boat is priced for prompt sale.

As a classic, you will find a well unkept maintenance, interior and exterior that that year and model. I purchased the boat in October 2018 with a little over 1400 hours. When purchased I piloted it a little over 200 miles in one day from its port on the Sassafras River (Duffey Creek) down the Chesapeake and up the Potomac River to my port near Washington D.C. (Capitol Cove marinas with no mechanical issues with the boat. The prior owner took exceptional maintenance service using the same technician for over 14 years. I used the boat primarily for weekend camping at the marina or swinging on the hook in a cove a few miles away from the marina. Therefore, I didn’t add many hours on the engine. The Cummins gas generator doesn’t have an hours meter that I could locate. I ran the generator approximately 4 hours since owned. The generator starts but appears not to be drawing cooling water. The impeller was replaced and havent had the time to further troubleshoot the issue. The boat is bottom cleaned by divers. The engines, they had major service including new heat exchangers during its stay at Duffy Creek just prior to my purchase. I didn’t obtain the maintenance records when purchased. I had the boat shipped over land from DC to Charleston, SC after moving to the area. Current MD registration/permits. Both props were machined and balanced and the shaft stuffing boxes repacked prior to lifting back in the river here in Charleston. The AC unit was replaced around 2010 with a Webasto unit. It’s a solid and dependable boat.
