I am liquidating a lifetime of Duck Stamp prints in the hope that someone
will get to enjoy them as much as I have. This was originally purchased
by me when it became available in 1982.

For your consideration is a rare and seldom offered 1981 Federal Duck Stamp and Print painted by
wildlife artist John S. Wilson called Ruddy Ducks. The original art depicts a pair of beautiful Ruddy Ducks in the water.
This design was chosen from open national competition out of 1507 entries. The stamps were printed in full color.
The print is a 6.5" x 9", four color photo lithography with special lite - fast inks on white cover stock.
John S. Wilson also is the winner of the 1979 and 1981 South Dakota pheasant stamp contests
(I have the 1982 North Dakota 1st of State Print & Stamp in the original folio for sale if you are interested)

Here is the info. on Ruddy Ducks;
YEAR: 1981 Federal Duck Stamp Print
ARTIST: John S. Wilson
PRINT NUMBER: # 14,471/16,000
MINT SIGNED STAMP: YES
Value of Stamp: $35 prior to his death
MINT STAMP: YES
Value of Stamp: ~ $40
FRAMED: NO

The Portfolio has Stamps in perfect condition in acid free envelopes and paper

Unfortunately John Wilson died on November 16, 2011.
The value of his work is going up dramatically since there will be no more
of his great art work and no longer a way to have anything signed by him.

CURRENT MARKET EVALUATION IS:
$65 to $175 for an unframed print with unsigned stamp
(both being in perfect condition, plus more value if it has the folio)
I just sold the same print, framed, shown here, without the signed stamp for $250

I ORIGINALLY priced the print at a reasonable selling price;
$275 for the Portfolio print. Sold the framed print I had for $360 (See Picture)
Price is now 40% OFF $275. A bargain!!
PRICED TO SELL QUICKLY TO A SMART BUYER

I came to this conclusion after consulting with numerous Wildlife Print dealers and what they were
asking for one IF they had it to sell and only 1 did. If not, it was their professional opinion considering
the quality of his work and his recent passing. Also took into consideration the signed stamp, a key
part of your purchase. With his passing, having a signed stamp makes all the difference in value.

Buy with confidence from me.
Been on Craig's List for over 2 decades with hundreds of
transactions and nothing but happy buyers.
