Part-Time Early Interventionists!

Charleston, Dorchester, Berkeley counties (and surrounding areas)

K.I.D.S. Early Intervention Program for Infants & Toddlers just celebrated its 10th year in service helping families across the state of South Carolina! Come and work with an amazing group of professionals in a fun, close-knit working environment!

As an Early Interventionists you will work with parents of children under the age of three with developmental delays and/or developmental challenges. Early Interventionists monitor the development of children in the home of the family, the community, and/or other natural settings (travel within regional area required) and you will also:

  • Provide families with early childhood strategies and resources based on the child's/family's needs.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary child and family assessments.
  • Monitor and coordinate with other early intervention personnel and with other professionals in the community.
  • Become a member of a professional educational team for infants and toddlers.

    A Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas:
     Education: Early Childhood, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education, or Elementary Education
     Child/Human Development
     Family and Consumer Sciences
     Psychology
     Public Health
     Social Work
     Sociology

    REQUIRED: At least one year of experience in the field of early intervention or early childhood education.
    Must submit an application to the Team for Early Childhood Solutions (TECS) office and meet requirements for the South Carolina Infant-Toddler Credential.
    PREFERRED: At least one year of experience with South Carolina's BabyNet Early Intervention Program
