Don't trust any company that will not give you their name, especially in a labor intensive industry such as tree service. You may ask, "why not"? In general, in labor intensive industries, you have to be careful with whom you hire, to make sure they aren't on drugs, aren't hiring thiefs, crooks, and criminals. If whomever you are dealing with doesn't have a name or will not give you their name, then they are hiding something. How can you research a company with no name? You can't look up reviews, you can't verify their insurance, you can't trust their references because they don't have a name. You can't get insurance for any company in any industry if you don't have a name.

Not to mention, if someone or some company is charging 50% cheaper than their competitors, how can they do so and stay in business? All companies in the same industry have the same expenses, labor costs, insurance, equipment payments, and such. If a company is charging 50% less than their competitors, then they are cutting costs somewhere, it can't be the labor, it can't be the equipment, so that really only leaves insurance. If you do decide to go with a company with the cheapest price, I urge you to get a copy of their certificate of insurance and call the company to make sure they truly do have insurance, the coverage is adequate to cover any possible damages, and to make sure the insurance covers the scope of the work. Don't let someone with landscape (grass cutting) insurance to remove a tree from your property. Simply put, go with a professional company you can rely on and trust, Palmetto Professional Tree Service, 843-697-4285.

You can tell a company is a professional company by the equipment they have and personal protection equipment they are wearing. If they aren't wearing hardhats, safety glasses, and such, do you really want that liability and risk on your property?
