I’ve got emu babies due in a few weeks and the eggs are already rocking , so I’m taking deposits . They are one of the most underrated farm animals out there and I can’t recommend highly enough. They’re like the personality of a goat in the body of a bird; they’re playful, energetic , and not aggressive like similar looking relatives. Easy to maintain, low cost, low maintenance , and can be penned with pretty much any other animal. Mine live with the Nigerian dwarf goats and chickens no problem. The adults are the parents and the younger one is an example of last years juvenile to give you an idea of growth rate.
$350 each or 300 each if you buy two together.
