We are seeking for a Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through a variety of landscaping, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from lawn care to hardscape installation, ensuring that outdoor environments are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The successful applicant will demonstrate strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a commitment to quality workmanship. The Landscaper position is essential in supporting the beautification and sustainability of our clients' landscapes.
Duties
Perform lawn care activities including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to maintain healthy turf.
Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as pruning, tree trimming, planting, and mulching.
Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for landscape installation and upkeep.
Assist with hardscape projects involving the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures.
Manage irrigation systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
Provide tree care services including planting, trimming, removal, and health assessment.
Support snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients.
Maintain equipment including excavators and other machinery through regular inspections and servicing.
Collaborate with team members to execute landscape design plans accurately and efficiently.
Follow safety protocols diligently while working in construction sites or with heavy machinery.
Experience
Proven experience in landscaping, horticulture, or groundskeeping roles preferred.
Mechanical knowledge related to operating construction equipment such as excavators.
Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and gardening principles.
Hands-on experience with hand tools (shovels, pruners) and power tools (trimmers, blowers).
Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting.
Understanding of tree care practices including trimming and disease management.
Ability to perform snow plowing operations safely during winter seasons.
Prior involvement in hardscape construction projects is a plus.
Strong work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining outdoor environments.
Excellent physical stamina to handle outdoor labor-intensive tasks consistently.
Pay rate: $18 to $19 an hour, based on experience and interview.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am to 4:30 pm.
