We are URGENTLY hiring experienced Yard Drivers to join our team! If you have experience operating a yard dog (terminal tractor) and are confident maneuvering trailers in tight spaces, we want to hear from you.
This Yard Driver position offers steady hours, a rotating schedule, and the opportunity to work with a professional team in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Position: Yard Driver
As a Yard Driver, you will:
Operate a yard dog (terminal tractor) to move trailers throughout the yard
Safely back trailers into designated loading and unloading areas
Perform trailer spotting and yard movements efficiently
Conduct equipment inspections before and after each shift
Follow all company safety procedures and yard traffic regulations
Assist with additional yard duties as assigned
Pay & Schedule:
Starting Pay: $20.00 per hour
WEEKLY PAY
12-hour rotating shifts
Operation runs 7 days per week
Typical schedule consists of 4 working days per rotation
Requirements:
-Previous experience operating a yard dog (terminal tractor) is REQUIRED
-Experience backing trailers into tight spaces safely and efficiently
-Valid Driver's License required
-Must complete MSHA training
-Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends
-Strong commitment to safety, attendance, and teamwork
