If anyone in the neighborhood was outside and had a squirrel approach them and they thought it would be cool to take him home and keep him as a pet please let him go. His name is Twitch. Squirrels are not ment to be behind bars in a cage as a pet. They have so much energy and they have to be able to let that energy out or it will turn into aggression. They are wild animals and deserve to be free. I raised Twitch since he was a few days old. He still had his umbilical cord attached when he was brought to me. His mom and siblings were attacked by a couple of hawks and he was the only one to survive. The poor guy was covered in fire ant bites but he was strong and he pulled through. Now that he is grown I've been teaching him how to survive in the wild. He was finally to the point to where he was able to play outside by his self during the day and he came in at night to sleep. If you do have him please let him go so that he can be a free. You can take a little cat bed and blanket and put it in the tree so that he has somewhere to hide and sleep until he can make his own nest. And keep some food out for him. If it's cold out or raining you can call him by his name and he will come to you and you can take him in for the night. But please don't force him. If he doesn't want to go in don't make him. Plus if you do try to force him to do anything he doesn't want to do you'll end up with a pierced body part. Those teeth will make you bleed. He never bit me like that but he has with other people. He has a certain respect for me because I raised him. He is a good boy and deserves to be a free squirrel so if you do have him please let him go. He had a rough beginning and I just want him to be happy. I'm not trying to get you to return him to me because he is not a pet and should not be treated like one. I'm not even leaving a contact number.I just want you to let him go so that he can have the free life that every squirrel deserves to have. Thank you
