Here is a 1971 Vw Camper. Its in decent shape overall, but is in need of restoration. It has been parked for about 15 years. It was originally sold and owned by a guy that bought it new and picked it up from the factory in Germany for about 15 years before it was shipped to the states and made its way to New Hampshire, and then to Charleston. It has rust in the rockers, quarters, and windshield frame and will need bodywork. The interior is mostly gone. It still has the poptop and cot though. No engine or transmission in it. Front floor has rust, but could be patched. Cargo area is mostly solid with some small holes, but can also be patched. Frame is in decent shape. Very restorable, and a very desirable year! Last year for type 1 vw engine in busses, and it came with factory front wheel disc brakes!!
(No longer has wind out windows, took windshield out to replace seal, but windshield cracked),(would need replacing anyway if doing proper restoration). Have kept it covered up well with car covers and tarps. Comes with some spare parts. Clean title in hand. $1000 firm!
I have a type 1 1600 dual port engine, and a vw bus to beetle block adapter plate that I will sell for an extra $500.
With the engine and adapter plate, $1500
