Maintains and operates Boilers, Chillers, Air compressors, Cooling towers, Split case pumps, Emergency generators and electrical equipment. Records data on equipment on a daily bases. Makes adjustments to equipment to meet daily needs, starts and stops equipment as demands call for loads. Conducts safety test and makes repairs as needed. Observes all state and federal guidelines.
Operates and monitors, maintains and test all Boiler function for safe operation.
Operates and Monitors and maintains Chillers and adjust for load demand as needed.
Operates and Maintains and test Emergency Generators to maintain 100% reliability at all times.
Operates and maintains cooling towers for proper flow and operation
Test all equipment to maintain reliability and to comply with all state and federal guidelines
Preforms preventive maintenance of equipment as required, using hand tools and keeps record of all repairs in the form of work orders.
Education or equivalent: High school Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
3-5 years’ experience with related equipment and environment.
Able to read Building Documents (Blue Prints)
Able to understand technical documents.
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of Fifty (50) pounds without assistance.
The ability to perform work with agility, and long periods of walking, standing, bending, carrying supplies and equipment
The Ability to work in cramped or confining space.
Occasionally work in an environment with load noises.
Frequent exposed to moving parts and fumes.
Occasionally will be exposed to work area with high heat.
Duties will include the risk of exposure to electrical shock.
