Visit by an Angel Home Care is seeking (2) dependable and compassionate Registered Nurses to provide PRN (as-needed) in-home assessments for our clients. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, engaged and looking for supplemental income, as this position is scheduled only when needed and hours are not guaranteed or consistent.
Service Areas:
Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties
Compensation:
$20 - $35 per assessment (15 - 30 minutes)

Primary Responsibilities:
Performing head-to-toe physical assessments on patients as needed.
Evaluating patient needs and home safety.
Creating and updating individualized patient care plans based on assessments.
Collaborate with caregivers and/or the patient’s family to provide training on medical support equipment and self-care.
Foster a supportive environment for the patients and families.
Maintaining accurate, detailed patient charts, notes on symptoms, and progress reports.
Occasionally come into the office approximately once per week.
Adhering to health guidelines, safety standards, and agency policies.
Required Qualifications:
Must hold current and unencumbered Registered Nursing License in South Carolina
Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess effective communication skills both orally and in writing
Must understand the issues related to the delivery of home health care and be able to problem-solve effectively
Must have the ability to assume a flexible work schedule
Must be able to work independently and follow care instructions
Previous caregiving experience preferred (but not required)
Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel within service areas
